ATLANTIS KV provides free space for international artists, open-minded visitors and local workers to try new ways of living based on sustainable principles. Local and international guests are welcome to relax, enjoy the beautiful Una National Park and contribute to the project by doing, learning or donating.
The project is located within a large factory in Kulen Vakuf, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Having been built as a factory under the Tito regime, its location within the Una National Park is unique and allows for a range of leisure activities such as rafting, hiking and bike tours. The huge warehouse next to the factory highlights all art projects realised within ATLANTIS KV: murals, paintings, handicraft, textile production and screen printing. In regards to agriculture and ecology, staff members and visitors engage in a variety of projects such as planting, gardening and the production of goat cheese, milk, jam, dried fruits, corn flour and liqueur.

ATLANTIS KV promotes a comprehensive and multifaceted anthropology. While understanding relaxation, work and creativity as the basic three components of life, art will always be a substantial part of the project. Due to the structure and equipment within the fabric, ATLANTIS KV allows for a wide range of artistic activities such as printing, painting, carpentry, the textile department and art installations. It is only through creative dedication that the human can achieve a higher level of consciousness and leave a trace in history by expressing his motives and personality. Artistic activities have the power to complete human life. Also, ATLANTIS KV believes that art has three essential functions: to understand the world and our existence, to shape the world and to make it a more beautiful place through aesthetics and decoration. This all leads to the fact that the workers and residents in Kulen Vakuf will live and work ‚inside‘ the art works which will be kept permanently within the premises.

ATLANTIS KV firmly believes that local production, respectful interaction among people, ecological sustainability and creative activities can make the world a better place. The project’s aim is to test new ways of living and working while spending quality time in the beautiful Una National Park.
The three core values of ATLANTIS KV are
ethical: all people are welcome, operating with ethical standards (i.e. profit share)
ecological: ecological sustainability, minimise waste and emissions for the smallest possible ecological footprint
local: local production helps both ecology and the local economy; with a global consciousness and awareness, the aim is to act locally for a global audience.
It does not matter where Atlantis was located in the past.
Important is that everybody associates a higher civilization with it.
So let’s define, what is today a higher civilization and realise it now.
Atlantis Now.
